GENERAL SUMMARY

Full Time Benefit Eligible

Shift: FT 40 hours per week, day shift 8am-4:30pm

Schedules medical services for patients with other healthcare providers for assigned patient population. Responsibilities: Coordinates scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services. Obtains approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.| Assists with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.| Ensures that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into electronic medical system.| Follows site-specific protocols and maintains up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. - Good computer and people skills

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES

Basic knowledge in medical terminology, Imaging procedures, and preauthorization process. Candidate needs to demonstrate excellent customer service skills including patience and empathy
