Join the Digital Global Business Unit focused on delivering the best-in-class personalized digital experience to customers and patients powered by data-driven decisions. This role will focus specifically on the digital experience of patients and/or consumers who could benefit from sanofi specialty therapies. As part of the Patient Insights team, you will be accountable to provide the data, systems and analytical tools to identify and resolve issues encountered by patients/consumers on their health journey.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A strong background in Data and Analytics and passion for driving innovation through data-driven solutions

Professional experience with AI/Gen-AI

Multiple years of experience managing and influencing both Business and Digital stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to drive consensus, navigate competing priorities and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives

As the Patient Insights Product Owner you will lead the:

Gen-AI/talk to data patient use cases

Impact assessment of key digital patient experience products/initiatives – e.g., Patient Companion App (treatment) persistence uplift

In this role you will co-define product strategy with the business, plan the corresponding roadmap, drive product delivery and measure/optimize business impact.  

Additionally, you will take an active role in the delivery:

Leading business reviews, articulating digital concepts and ROI to non-technical stakeholders

Navigating and resolving conflicts between competing stakeholder priorities, making data-driven recommendations that balance business value, technical feasibility, and resource constraints

Main Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, drive technology strategy, and deliver tailored digital solutions

Capture business needs and impact to support the business case creation

Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands

Elicit and document requirements

Create prototypes and codesign innovative solutions

Define, set up, and validate that the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements

Own the assessment and prioritization of Patient/Consumer use cases for analytics and AI solutions, ensuring alignment with Patient Experience strategic goals

Contribute to the design and implementation of the end-to-end product vision and delivery based on impact assessments

Help standardize and deliver digital products with a focus on the patient/consumer experience analytics and AI

Promote architectural consistency and usability standards; define and execute test cases

Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends

Assist in managing the product roadmap, including budget planning, resource allocation, and feasibility assessments

Provide consultative support on business-led technology initiatives

Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information

About You

Core (technical) requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business/Data Analytics or similar field

Ability to rapidly understand key business processes and their corresponding data flows

Proficiency in reading, evaluating SQL logic and corresponding output

Proficiency in developing semantic data models, providing business descriptions for fields, measures (to be leveraged by different AI models)

Proficiency in Hypothesis testing, A/B testing methodologies, and experimental design for impact assessments

Knowledge of KPIs, hierarchies, and the understanding of data relationships

Hands-on experience in AI/Gen-AI (e.g., understanding of LLM frameworks and RAG architecture for GenAI applications)

5+ years relevant experience (internships, school external partnerships are in scope)  

Core soft skills requirements

Track-record of problem-solving & overcoming roadblocks in a complex environment, with a “get things done” mindset

Strong cross-functional leadership & influencing skills including an ability to work efficiently cross-functionally with:

Internal/external data engineers to test outcomes and recommend enhancements

Business stakeholders to understand business priorities and pull through digital solutions

Proven ability to build credibility and trust with business stakeholders:

Translating technical complexity into business value and strategic impact

Delivering on commitments and managing stakeholder expectations proactively

Demonstrating business acumen and understanding of commercial/medical priorities

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred experience

Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation

Pharmaceutical and/or Patient Support Services experience, e.g., knowledge of healthcare data privacy regulations

Salesforce/CRM knowledge

Experience in Agile development processes and DevOps methodology / principals

Snowflake experience

The salary range for this position is:

$93,900.00 - $156,500.00

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
