Job Description:This position coordinates all aspects of patient flow throughout the East Market. Coordinates activities between defined areas and provides clinical leadership and expertise to ensure proper patient placement. Facilitates an atmosphere of collegial relationships among nursing personnel and others. Has major responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, plans, and standards of the organization and nursing services within their defined areas of responsibility.

Coordinates all patient placement activityReceives requests for information on medical conditions, medications and diagnostic testsWill assist with the coordination of patient transfers from referring facilities calling in to the Essentia Health STAT doc line

Educational Requirements:

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in health care, nursing, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of healthcare experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong understanding of medical terminology
