All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Part-time **Shift** :Nights, 2/12 hour shifts **Location:** AdventHealth Daytona Beach **The community you'll be caring for:** 301 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Daytona Beach, 32117 **The role you'll contribute:** The Patient Care Technician/Unit Liaison (PCT/UL) is responsible to perform duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Registered nurse in compliance with established process standards, structure standards and protocols of the assigned unit. The (PCT/UL) works in cooperation with all team members in an effort to accomplish departmental goals and objectives. The (PCT/UL) role is multi-disciplined. When assigned as a PCT, the primary function is the delivery of competent, compassionate, and cost effective care. When assigned as a Unit Liaison, primary function is to perform clerical duties, provide professional service to our healthcare team, visitors and patients. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Ensures personal hygiene and comfort care is delivered to all patients. + Observes and reports changes in skin condition to the licensed nurse, implementing preventative measures as needed within scope of practice. + Responds promptly to nurse/patient intercom systems. + Obtains and reports vital signs and lab specimens per hospital policy. + Transports patients as directed by licensed nursing personnel. + Provides direct patient care for catheters, tubes, and dressing changes as directed. **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + High School Grad or Equiv Required + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required + 1 healthcare certified nursing assistant clinical experience Required **Preferred qualifications:** + Associate Preferred + Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
