Patient Care Technician Apply Now **Job Summary** TITLE: Patient Care Technician SHIFT: Days (8h and 12h) TIME: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and 7:00 am - 7:30 pm HOLIDAYS: Work 3 holidays per year **What You'll Do** CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Perform ADLs + Trach suctioning and urinary catheter + Monitor patient status, record and document vital signs, I's & O's, blood sugars, and reporting any outside parameters to nurses. + Stock and maintain inventory of specialized areas. + Transport patients to and from designated locations. + Assist with admitting and discharge procedures. + Perform other related duties as assigned SUPERVISION RECEIVED + General supervision is received from a Registered Nurse or other designated official. **Responsibilities*** Provide moderate to complex assistance to pediatric patients. **Required Qualifications*** + Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements: This position requires moderate standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring of patients. **Desired Qualifications*** + Reasonable knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in patient care activities. + CNA certificate. + Experience in patient-facing work + Pediatric patient experience **Modes of Work** Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
