Summary

Job Description:

Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated, assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team/and or unit.

Essential Duties:

Personal hygieneRoutine vital signsRoutine careDocumentation of patient care in EMR based on scope of practice Responsibility:Phlebotomy and various other lab collectionsPlacement of appropriate monitoring equipment •Performs 12 Lead ECG

Requirements:

High School /GEDBLS within 3 monthsSuccessful completion of an Approved Aide Training Program is preferred.Previous phlebotomy/point of care testing is preferred.One year job related experience in a healthcare setting providing patient care preferred
