**Responsibilities** As a Patient Care Tech on PCU you will perform as a Monitor Tech, CNA or in the Unit Coordinator capacilty. Essential Duties: + Acts as a receptionist for the unit. + Transcribes physician orders. Orders labs, diets and tests for all patients on the unit. + Collaborates with the nursing team to expedite the admission, transfer and discharge of patients. + Answers the patient call system and directs the nursing team to assist. + Maintains staffing records and beeper lists for his/her shift. + Initiates, maintains, and breaks down medical chart records for all patients on unit. + Performs POCT QC’s.
