Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated services related to common nursing functions of Boulders ASC. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the PCT assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the PCT’s skills/training and the needs of the Department, and consistently assists the patient care team within the center. The PCT complies with all surgery center procedures and observes the State Board of Nursing rules for unlicensed personnel. **What you will do in this role:** + Interacts with patients, fellow employees, physicians, and other stakeholders in a manner which encourages quality patient care, harmonious working relationships, positive customer relations, and which enhances the image and reputation of the center + Assists in monitoring and recording in environmental and equipment log. + You will maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies + You will answer phones, call for medical records + You will assist with computer data entry + Assist Pre-Admissions Testing team with collecting history & physicals **Qualifications you will need:** + One year patient care assistance in a healthcare environment + CNA or PCT Certification Preferred + Valid BCLS Certification upon employment***online certification not acceptable.
