Hours: Mon & Tue 8:00-5:00pm, Wed & Thurs 8:00-6:00pm, Fri 8:00-2:00pm,

2nd & 4th Saturdays 8:00-12:00 pm

Overview

As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. Education

High School Diploma or EquivalentAssociate Level degree or higher in lieu of the required experience will be considered

Experience

Customer Service Experience. 3 years requiredExperience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third-Party Payers, 1 year required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.92 - $25.38. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
