The Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center with Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Behavioral Health Services constitutes a freestanding 100-bed acute care psychiatric facility which provides inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for adults and older adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders.
Job Overview:
The Patient Care Associate (also referred to as PCA) is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. The PCA works under the direct supervision of the registered nurse to provide care to patients with diverse psychiatric illnesses. All methods of practice and/or work performance shall conform to written established hospital policies and procedures and be carried to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstrating concern and consideration.

Required:
High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of all Orientation ProgramsRequires a minimum of one-year experience as a PCA working with geriatric patientsPreferred:
CNA certificationPrevious experience as a Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, or Patient Care Technician New Jersey State certification as a PCACertifications and Licenses Required:
