Job Details What to expect: + Skills you will learn: Patient care activities such as proper hygienic care (bathing, showering, shaving, etc.), assisting with hydration and nutrition, ambulation and transportation of patients, therapeutic communication and assisting in emergency situations. + BLS certification provided. + Training/Orientation is fully paid at the same rate of the position. + Classroom-style learning supplemented with hands on clinical training. + Agreement to a 1-year commitment period working at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital upon successful completion of the training program. Requirements for the Nursing Assistant Training Program: + Passion for patient care, positive attitude and willingness to learn. + Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Preferred experience: Customer Service experience, Caregiver experience and demonstrated interest and/or exposure to healthcare.
