Techs administrative professionals and support staff is dedicated specifically to this unit where we continue to provide safe personalized compassionate care to all our patients This unitrsquos focus is on the provision of care to patients requiring a period of Observation before a medical decision can be made regarding patient admission vs discharge All rooms are equipped with new state of the art technology to support even the most acute of patientsPosition SummaryUnder the direction of a Registered Nurse or Unit Manager the Patient Administrative Associate performs delegated functions as a member of a patient care team by providing administrative support and communicating with members of the health care team patients and families This role contributes to the successful operation of the work area and functions in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards policies and procedures Reports to Manager Patient UnitFacilitates communications for the work area by providing reception information and assistance to customers responding to requests for information regarding patient condition coordinating and communicating information promptly clearly and accurately to internal and external customers and as directed requisitioningfacilitating the scheduling of diagnostic therapeutic and other ancillary servicesWork where every moment matters Every day
