Job Details We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic cardiology office at Catholic Health. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by managing scheduling, patient inquiries, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: + Patient Reception: Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the office. + Scheduling Appointments: Efficiently manage patient appointments and coordinate with medical staff to ensure optimal scheduling of services and resources. + Phone Management: Answer high-volume incoming calls promptly, providing information and routing calls to the appropriate personnel as needed. + Patient Coordination: Assist patients with check-in/check-out processes, verify insurance details, and collect necessary co-pays and documentation. + Administrative Duties: Perform various clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. + Communication: Facilitate effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and team members to enhance patient care delivery. + Problem Solving: Address patient concerns and inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and with empathy to ensure patient satisfaction. + Office Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional front office environment. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. + Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably within a cardiology office. + Familiarity with medical terminology and experience with electronic health record (Epic) systems is highly advantageous. + Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations. + Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. + A compassionate and patient-focused attitude, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Salary Range USD $25.00 - USD $31.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
