Job Title: Patient Access Representative II Job Description
The Patient Access Representative II is a temporary position that begins onsite with several weeks of comprehensive training. Upon successful completion of training, the role may transition to remote work. The shift can vary between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM, with a schedule of five 8-hour days. This position is responsible for performing all admissions activities for pre-admit and face-to-face registration of patients in admissions and outpatient areas.
Responsibilities
+ Facilitate patient access and secure demographic and financial patient registration information, including registration, pre-registration, insurance verification, eligibility verification, and securing cash deposits.
+ Demonstrate sensitivity and attention to the patient population served while performing job duties.
+ Provide superior customer service through interactions with all customers within the healthcare system.
Essential Skills
+ Two years of healthcare experience working in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle department, physician office, healthcare insurance company, or other revenue cycle-related roles.
+ EPIC experience required, including the ability to schedule in EPIC.
+ Experience answering multi-line and high-volume telephone calls in a healthcare call center environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bilingual skills are preferred.
+ Experience in birth certificate processing is helpful.

This is a Contract position based out of West Hollywood, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
