Your Role in Action
Be the first impression: Greet and guide patients through the registration process with kindness and efficiency.
Ensure accuracy: Collect, verify, and update demographic, insurance, and financial information.
Support patients financially: Verify insurance, explain out-of-pocket costs, process payments, and connect patients with financial counseling if needed.
Keep care moving: Prioritize registrations based on patient acuity and department protocols to ensure timely care.
Collaborate with the team: Work closely with clinical staff, providers, and fellow administrative professionals to deliver seamless care.
Champion excellence: Meet productivity and quality standards while spotting opportunities to improve processes and patient experience.
What You Bring
At least 1 year of customer service experience (healthcare experience preferred).
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (or eagerness to learn).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, tact, and confidentiality.
Excellent communication—both verbal and written—to connect with patients and team members.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new software systems.
Coursework beyond high school or experience in a complex administrative role required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
