Patient Access Manager

Union Hospital is looking to add a Patient Access Manager to the team who will manage the daily operations of the patient registration and access functions within the Patient Access areas, including Outpatient, Surgery, Emergency Department and Central Scheduling. Some of your daily responsibilities will include conducting daily huddles, monitoring time-keeping and tracking attendance, interviewing, hiring and training caregivers and ensuring appropriate staffing levels for an efficient operation. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who has strong critical thinking skills and an open mind to ensure a strong team culture and that operations are running smoothly. **A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with on-call requirements.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards and objectives which directly support the organization's strategic plan and vision. + Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. + Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagements. + Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. + Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and initiatives for the department. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Five years of experience in Healthcare or Customer Service Management + Will consider Finance, HIS, IT or Nursing supervisory experience in high volume facility **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. + Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. + Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment. + In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system. + In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. **Pay Range** Minimum Annual Salary: $63,250.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $96,467.50 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
