Job Summary
Seacoast Cancer Center - Full Time - Great Benefits!Responsible for ensuring that all necessary information is accurately collected and recorded. Will work to provide a positive patient experience while obtaining the information necessary to facilitate patient care and billing processes. Leads support staff by functioning as a go to for day-to-day questions, assists with staff scheduling and providing daily assignments, trains staff, and provides input for performance evaluation.

Essential Functions:
-Leads staff by providing daily assignments, resolving daily questions/challenges, and supporting staff development.
-Trains and mentors patient access staff, as well as provides input to managers regarding staff performance.
-Greet patients and provide them with exceptional customer service and support.
-Schedule appointments, pre-register patients, and process patient information accurately and efficiently.
-Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about healthcare services and insurance coverage.
-Ensure that all patient information is kept confidential and secure, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
-Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and policies and be able to apply them in daily operations.
Education
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred: Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

- Required: Registration, Admissions, Billing or related experience 2-3 years
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of patient access procedures, healthcare regulations, and insurance coverage.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
