Responsibilities: 

The Pathology Medical Specialist is responsible for:

Responsible for transcribing pathology, cytology and certain clinical laboratory test results, coordinating with technical staff the collection of information for send-out, re-cut and special stain requestsCompiling and distributing final pathology reports to designated requestorsPerforming assigned administrative duties, including typing pathology correspondence and policies and proceduresFormatting QA QI spreadsheets and reports Maintaining files and reports for Pathology Office Perform other duties as assigned.
