Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patent Drafting Expert with 3-5 years of proven experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Patent Prosecution :
Preparing responses to Office Actions, including analyzing Examiner rejections (e.g., novelty, obviousness, written description, enablement) and drafting compelling legal arguments and claim amendmentsConducting targeted prior art searches to support Office Action responses or to assess patentabilityPreparing formality documents and other prosecution-related correspondence.Docket Management:
Managing assigned docket efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.Utilizing patent docketing software effectivelyPatent Strategy and Inventor Interaction:
Contributing to the development of patent strategy for the business unit and identifying key protectable features and potential competitive advantages in collaboration with international colleaguesEffectively communicating with inventors to gather technical information, explain patent concepts, and provide updates on application status. Building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Technical and Legal Research:
Conducting in-depth technical research to fully grasp complex inventions and related technologies.Performing legal research on patentability issues, claim construction, and prosecution strategies.Staying abreast of changes in patent law, regulations, and examination guidelines.QualificationsEducational qualification:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Material Science).Patent Agent registration is MANDATORYExperience :
3-5 years of direct experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a law firm or in-house corporate patent department. This experience should demonstrate a proven track record of successfully drafting complex applications and responding to Office Actions.Mandatory/requires Skills :
