Duties and responsibilities related to the Pastry Demi Chef de Partie role
As Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your pastry section, ensuring the delivery of high-quality desserts, baked goods, and sweet creations that delight our guests.
Prepare and present pastry items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Innovate and contribute to seasonal menu development with creative pastry ideas.
Monitor quality across all stages of pastry production, from mise en place to final plating.
Manage stock and ordering for your section, maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimising waste.
Ensure all pastry equipment and tools are clean, well-maintained, and safely stored.
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and health safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
About you
You have proven experience in a professional pastry kitchen, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment. You’re confident managing a pastry section independently, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for patisserie. A collaborative team player, you thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering exceptional pastry creations.
