Are you an experienced Fire Door Installer who takes pride in doing the job right — first time, every time?
We're growing fast and are looking for skilled installers to join our self-delivery Fire Protection team, working across commercial and residential sites on national contracts.

This role will involve travelling across the UK, with overnight stays when required. Accommodation, meals, and expenses are covered, and you'll have full support from our delivery and admin teams to make working away as seamless as possible.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and remediating timber fire doors and frames to the highest standards. You will deliver all works in accordance with FIRAS requirements, manufacturer specifications, and Mitie's quality assurance procedures. The position involves using digital systems to record and provide evidence of completed work, while working closely with supervisors and site managers to maintain high standards and ensure safety compliance. Additionally, you will represent Mitie with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity at all times.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for individuals with proven experience in fire door installation or remedial works, with FIRAS accreditation being highly desirable. A strong understanding of BS 8214, BM TRADA, and all relevant fire safety regulations is essential, along with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. The role requires candidates to be comfortable working away from home during the week and to hold a valid CSCS card as well as a full UK driving licence.
