This Merchandising Manager - Party role covers both traditional Party items and Fireworks. As the Merchandising Manager of this area you will need to plan and trade core ranges, plan multiple promos and play into key events, across multiple channels. You will also manage a fixed buy area, Fireworks, which brings with it exposure to quite a niche operating model. This role is a 14 month maternity cover.

Your Role

As the Merchandising Manager, you will be driving the business towarss the potential profit in-season and you will be responsible for planning a strong activity programme throughout the year.

You will be managing product critical path and lifecycle to maximise availability on both range & activity and you will provide accurate forecasting of sales, stock turn and markdown to achieve maximum profit.You will be responsible for the analysis of sales data to provide recommendations for range control, budgeting & selection for future seasons. You will be responsible for the P&L of these areas and ensuring you deliver on the commercials.You and your team will work closely with the buying team to further understand our customer needs & competitor activity and you will work on defining and shaping business strategy both short & long-term.
