About this RoleIFS InfraSource is seeking a reliable and organized Parts Runner / Scheduler to support our field meter exchange operations. This role plays a key part in keeping field crews productive by ensuring technicians have the tools, supplies, and meters they need to complete daily work.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, interacting with customers, managing logistics, and supporting operations in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do Transport tools, supplies, and new meters to field technicians to support meter exchange workMeet with technicians each morning to swap out bad meters with new inventory Remain in assigned service areas throughout the day to schedule customer appointments and coordinate accessEngage professionally with customers through door knocking to confirm or schedule meter exchange appointmentsTrack, manage, and secure meter inventory throughout the workdayMaintain accurate documentation related to inventory and daily activitiesFollow all safety protocols, DOT requirements, and company policiesPerform other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle Ability to lift, load, and transport meters and equipment throughout the workdayStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProfessional communication skills with both customers and field crewsComfort working independently in the field and managing daily logisticsDependable work ethic with punctuality and time management skillsPreferred: Experience in utilities, logistics, or field operations and/or customer-facing scheduling experience What You'll Get Paid on-the-job technical and professional training Defined career path for future growth Competitive wages and industry-leading benefits including Retirement PlanThis position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
