Responsibilities:
Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they needAssist technicians, service advisors, and the sales department in identifying, locating, and obtaining the correct automotive parts for repairs or maintenanceManage parts inventory, shop supplies, and maintain accurate records using inventory management systemsProcess orders, receive and stock incoming parts, and ensure inventory is stocked in the correct locationMaintain the parts department in a clean and organized mannerAccurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to dateAnswer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer’s needs are metInform customers of any current specialsDemonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendorsThis role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a solid understanding of automobiles to ensure efficient and accurate service for both internal and external GP1 employees.
Qualifications:
Automotive parts department experience is preferredExcellent customer service skillsProfessional appearance and work ethicAbility to work well in a process-driven environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
