Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a materials and processes expert in a robust PMP program supporting a multi million-dollar franchise production program.
+ Collaborate closely with the customer, other government agencies, and cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, review, improve, and document PMP activities, and ensure compliance to contractual obligations.
+ Support periodic audits of suppliers facilities and processes.
+ Provide technical assessments to Material Review Boards (MRBs)toresolvenon-conformances.
+ Skillfully present detailed technical information to internal and external customers with confidence.
+ Participate in RCCA and CAR/SCAR activities as needed.
+ Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
+ Mentor more junior engineersandactively contribute to knowledge-sharing culture.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline
+ Minimum ofeightyears of relevant experiencein related industry (i.e.defense, electronics)orsixyears plus aMaster s Degree
+ Knowledge ofmechanicalfabricationtechniques and processes
+ Knowledge/familiarity with special processessuch aspassivation, anodize, prime and paint, plating, and heat treatment
+ Experience with the design and manufacture of electronic circuit card assemblies
+ Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), Quality Management System (QMS), and MS Office software
+ Clear communication both oral and written and a positive attitude
+ Ability to work remotely as part of larger team
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Knowledge ofcommonmilitaryand industry specifications and standards(MIL, ASTM, etc.)
+ Experience collaborating with and managing suppliers
+ Knowledge ofand experience with raw materials and their governing specifications
+ Prior experienceinDesign Engineeringrole, especially on cooled and uncooled infrared optical systems
+ Prior experiencein Quality or Supplier Quality organizations;familiarity withSAEAS9100 and AS9102. Knowledge of QMS requirements.
+ Experiencewith guided and unguided munitions, includingsupport of test events at customer sites
+ Experience with bearings,gimbals,dewars,cameras,motorsand resolvers
+ Hands-on experience with thermal, vibration, and shock environmental testing per MIL-STD-810
+ Eligibility to obtain a DoD Security Clearance at the secret level
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
