Job Title: Parts Coordinator
Job Description
The Parts Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the maintenance team by overseeing inventory, ordering, and distribution of parts necessary for operations and customer service. This role ensures the availability of parts, maintains accurate records, and aids both internal teams and external clients. The position also involves supporting a new CMMS software implementation through inventory and part number entry.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies.
+ Process orders, backorders, and returns efficiently.
+ Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
+ Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
+ Respond to inquiries regarding part availability, pricing, and substitutions.
+ Support maintenance departments with parts-related needs.
+ Maintain organized records of purchases, invoices, and data entry.
Essential Skills
+ Prior data entry experience.
+ Prior inventory experience.
+ Experience with parts and parts numbers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ A degree would be nice to have.
Work Environment
This role is based onsite, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The work environment supports growth opportunities, allowing individuals to potentially move into a supply chain role, where they can purchase and buy products/materials. Performance-based pay increases are also possible.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
