You will be responsible for managing extended range vendor accounts as we launch new categories through strategic partnerships with leading brands, distributors and specialist retailers. This is a hybrid role combining commercial buying and operational account management. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships, driving vendor performance, and executing trading strategies to deliver profitable growth. You will support with onboarding new partners, launching new categories and accountable for ensuring service delivery, competitive pricing, strong assortment, and promotional execution to enhance customer experience and category performance.

Discretionary annual bonus up to 20%33 days' holiday (including bank holidays, 5 of which can be taken flexibly)Hybrid working with up to 2 days working from homeFlexible start and end times around core working hoursBuy More Holiday - eligible colleagues can boost their holiday allowance by up to one extra weekEV Care Scheme in Partnership with Tusker - eligible colleagues can lease a brand-new or pre-loved electric vehicleUp to 14% employer pension contributionsLife cover up to 4x your salaryHealth cash plan and discounted gym memberships (up to 25% savings)20% discount at Screwfix and B&Q Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for extended range vendors, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment with platform standards and commercial goals. Develop joint business plans with vendors to drive sales, improve operational performance, and expand assortment. Manage pricing, promotions, and visibility strategies to maximise sales and profitability. Responsible for new seller onboarding, ensuring adherence to Screwfix policies, service levels, and compliance requirements. Monitor vendor KPIs (sales, margin, stock availability, fulfillment performance) and use analytics to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with vendors to create and deliver plans that boost traffic and conversion. Work cross-functionally to deliver seamless seller and customer experiences, across Commercial, Fulfilment, Digital, Finance, and CSC teams. Identify and mitigate risks related to vendor performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Escalate any key risks and recommendations to Line Manager for review/alignment on actions and or next steps Analyse and action vendor performance, providing regular insight and reporting to key stakeholders, to demonstrate progress and service delivery. Drive continuous improvement through testing and developing new ways of working. 

Key KPI’s 

Sales: Achieve revenue targets  Margin Performance: Deliver agreed margin % and promotional ROI. Vendor Compliance: Maintain >95% compliance to policies and SLAs. Assortment Expansion: Increase SKU count and category breadth by agreed %. Fulfillment Performance: Ensure >98% on-time delivery and order accuracy. Customer Experience: Maintain vendor ratings above platform benchmarks. Promotional Effectiveness: Achieve uplift targets for key campaigns and events. Stock Availability: Maintain >95% availability for top-selling SKUs.  Qualifications Strategic thinking and commercial awareness. Relationship management and influencing. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital retail environment. Experience in general merchandise categories. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and vendor performance metrics. Ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver against KPIs. Experience in account management, marketplace operations, or vendor management.   Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Commercial acumen with experience in trading and P&L management. Proficiency in Excel and Analytics tools.
