Job Title Partnership Liaison Manager Agency Texas A&M University - San Antonio Department College Of Arts And Sciences Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location San Antonio, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description The Partnership Liaison Manager will assist in the coordination of the dual credit and Early College High School (ECHS) partnerships at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. This role will provide support for academic advising, scheduling, and support services for dual credit and ECHS students, ensuring the students are on track academically and receiving the necessary resources for success. The Partnership Liaison Manager will also serve as the primary contact between the academic departments, high school partners, and students, facilitating communication, support, and academic progression. Responsibilities: + Outreach: Serve as a representative of the office in both high school and university settings. + Stakeholder Relationship Management: Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and collaboration. + Student Scheduling and Advising: Coordinate the development of student schedules and provide advising and coaching to implement intervention strategies and ensure students stay on track academically. + Oversight of Student Data: Utilize student data to effectively advise student growth opportunities, enhance retention efforts, and work with the schools for any student progression concerns. + Student Onboarding: Coordinate student ID processing, access, and training for student portals. + Academic Support Workshops: Collaborate with campus resources to offer academic support workshops aimed at improving students’ writing and coursework skills. + TSI Compliance: Report TSI scores to appropriate university offices, provide student data, and ensuring accuracy of the scores. + Event Planning and Recruitment: Support Executive Director in the implementation of events and student recognitions. + Supervision of Student Workers: Supervise and mentor student workers, ensuring they provide effective support to both students and staff in the program. + Data Entry: Enter and maintain accurate student records, including fee data. + Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the dual credit and ECHS programs. Required Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field. + Five (5) years of related experience. Preferred Education and Experience: + Experience in higher education, academic advising, K-12, or related field. + Strong understanding of dual credit and early college high school programs, including academic advising, student success strategies, and partnership management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners. + Proficiency in using and entering data to support program outcomes. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support student success.
