We are seeking a Partner Solution Sr. Engineer to join the Technology Alliances and Marketplace team, operating at the intersection of Alliances, Partner Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, and cross-functional leadership. This individual will be working with the partner solution architecture team, partner development teams, professional services and Leadership teams. This candidate plays a critical role in ensuring the successful alignment of high-impact partner program initiatives. This is highly technical and hands on role.This role requires a strong technical skills in areas of SaaS architecture/design, Cloud platform architecture, API and integration skills combined with P&C insurance domain knowledge, Guidewire product knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and coordinate across a broad range of stakeholders across different timezones. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, brings structure to ambiguity, and is passionate about innovation and execution excellence.
Job Description
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a strong understanding of pre-built content and accelerators, ensuring alignment with product and platform standards. Validate core services content and Marketplace submissions by collaborating closely with solution and technology partners.
Lead formal and informal technical and functional Guidewire integration architecture discussions.
Collaborate with Partners and Guidewire internal teams to establish joint partner technical integration strategy, project dependencies, project risks, and success criteria.
Act as the technical contact for Partner Developers, provide guidance on Guidewire’s products, cloud platform and technology roadmap.
Guide and support partner developers and internal product teams throughout the submission and validation process.
Continuously assess and evolve key areas for improvement, implement scalable solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement that increases efficiency, execution quality, and team collaboration
Identify, manage, and coordinate dependencies and integrations across projects, teams, and systems to ensure smooth execution and alignment
Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adapting to shifting priorities and evolving business needs with composure and focus
Act as the technical contact for Partner Developers, provide guidance on Guidewire’s products, cloud platform and technology roadmap
Desired Qualifications8 to 11 years of hands on experience and advanced exposure to broad technical skills such as Object- -Oriented programming Programming (JAVA or C#), relational databases (data modelling/SQL), cloud database services, web UI experience (design and development), data formats(JSON, XML), APIs, and broad application architecture. Very strong exposure to developer tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Teamcity, etc.
Proven experience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
Significant years of experience in working for Guidewire related projects with expertise in PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter. Experience in Guidewire cloud services such as APD, Jutro, Integration gateway, etc. Experience in Guidewire data platform is plus.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience working on projects for P&C insurance customers in core Guidewire implementation who served as development lead. Firm understanding of basic concepts of P&C insurance domain.
Experience working on projects using Cloud Technologies and understands agile tools and concepts. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or other project tracking and reporting tools is a plus.
Guidewire ACE certification and or AWS certifications is a plus.
Fluent in English required. Fluency in Japanese language is a strong plus.
