Our Americas Alliances and Channel organization is seeking a Partner Sales Director to join our growing team. In this role you will strategically plan and deliver a cross-functional strategy to engage our current and potential partners in the Americas VAR community.
We are looking for an individual who understands the channel business and how to grow, scale and manage a region. In addition to managing, recruiting and enabling partners, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities with your partners to increase brand awareness, accelerate pipeline and achieve customer success and product adoption.
Reporting to the Acquisition Partner Sales Leader, you will have a unique opportunity to work for a disruptive start up and lead the development of a new set of sales focused ecosystem alliances. This is a quota carrying position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Evangelize, enable and develop go-to-market strategies with the reseller and partner community
Manage a portfolio of high performing partners to achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities
Develop best practices to engage with partners, escalate issues and set clear expectations with partners on working with Snowflake
Develop partner specific account plans to include annual & quarterly goals, marketing support, requirements, etc.
Ensure partners are maintaining baseline training and knowledge of Snowflake
Adhere to and support various program guidelines, rules, and measures
Assist as needed in the development of required support materials for the program
Measure and report on the success of assigned partners
Help with recruitment, training, and on-boarding of new partners
DESIRED EXPERIENCE10+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances sales & business development
5+ years of direct channel sales/management experience within the SaaS space
Extensive experience and working relationships with key US resellers
Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use
Working knowledge of cloud environments and Data preferred.
Ability to travel up to 50%

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $315,000 - $350,000. The estimated base salary for this role is $220,500 - $245,000.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
