Partner Marketing Manager

Here, you’ll have the tools and opportunities to advance your career while creating software that changes the world. **Your role and responsibilities** We are seeking a results-driven Partner Marketing Manager to help drive pipeline and revenue growth for Apptio and IBM through strategic partner marketing activation across the Americas. This role is for someone who understands the ecosystem landscape, including GSIs, channel partners, MSPs, hyperscalers, ISVs, VADs, and VARs, and knows how to activate partners through marketing programs that directly impact business outcomes. This is a hands-on role for a builder who can translate strategy into execution and own partner programs end to end. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Own and execute partner marketing programs that drive pipeline creation and revenue for Apptio/IBM across the Americas for multiple partner segments. * Partner closely with sales, ecosystem, product, operations, and marketing teams to align GTM priorities and execution. * Develop and manage integrated partner programs including demand generation, field activations, events, partner enablement, and marketplace initiatives. * Act as the day-to-day marketing lead for assigned partners, owning planning, execution, and follow-through end to end. * Plan, manage, and optimize MDF, partnering with sales and ecosystem teams to fund partner programs that drive pipeline creation and revenue growth. * Track, report, and optimize partner marketing performance with a focus on pipeline influence, sourced opportunities, and revenue impact. * Operate effectively in a matrixed environment, navigating ambiguity with a bias toward action. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with proven success in partner, ecosystem, or channel marketing. * Experience driving pipeline and revenue through partner-led marketing programs. * Strong understanding of enterprise partner ecosystems, including GSIs, hyperscalers, MSPs, ISVs, VADs, and VARs. * Experience working cross-functionally with sales, ecosystem, product, and operations teams. * Hands-on experience managing partner marketing budgets, including MDF. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Strong cross-functional collaborator who can influence without authority. * A hands‑on attitude with a proactive approach to getting things done. * A collaborative work style and the ability to partner effectively across teams. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Proven experience preparing and delivering high‑level pitches or presentations to senior management.
