Role Overview

A leading law firm is looking to hire a Partner to join its Corporate practice. The role involves advising domestic and international clients on complex corporate transactions and driving growth for the practice through client development and team leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and executing domestic and cross-border M&A transactionsAdvising on private equity and venture capital investments, exits, and structured dealsHandling joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisoryAdvising clients on transaction structuring, negotiation strategy, and risk managementManaging end-to-end transaction execution including due diligence, documentation, and closingBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships with corporates, founders, and investment fundsContributing to business development and practice growth initiativesSupervising and mentoring associates and managing deal teamsPreferred Candidate Profile10+ years PQE (flexible based on profile)Strong background in M&A / PE transactions with demonstrated execution capabilitiesAbility to manage transactions independently and lead teamsClient-facing experience with strong commercial judgementPortable book of business preferred (not mandatory depending on the platform and role)Prior experience with a top-tier law firm or reputed boutique preferredWhy This RoleOpportunity to work on high-value transactions with marquee clientsStrong platform for practice growth and cross-border exposureCollaborative team environment with scope to build a practice vertical
