Partner Engineer, YouTube Shopping (Korean, English)
Google welcomes people with disabilities. **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. + 3 years of experience in working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP). + 3 years of experience in coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python). + Experience in troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers. + Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to collaborate with stakeholders. **Preferred qualifications:** + Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. + Experience in an investigative role like business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics. + Experience in working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). + Experience in working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, other operating systems). + Experience with working in E-Commerce ecosystems such as inventory, payments and analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for driving partner success and enabling business growth through partnerships and operations. You will develop an understanding of the YouTube Shopping stack, engage with partners in Korea such as e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and identify technical integration paths. You will manage technical engagement for partners and design operational frameworks to support expansion. You will also play a role in shaping the product goals and roadmap by channeling partner feedback to product teams and enabling product-market fit for Live Shopping in Korea. **Responsibilities:** + Build an understanding of business context and internal engineering platforms to help shape partnership and product strategy and drive business growth. Build an understanding of YouTube Shopping, Google Commerce and E-commerce Analytics. Identify and drive growth opportunities in collaboration with product and business teams. + Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance. + Collaborate with product teams on feature request prioritization and product roadmap. + Drive operational excellence by creating a model for enterprise developer engagement and developer relationships. + Review technical terms of partner agreements to ensure that YouTube can deliver what is committed based on existing product features.
