YOUR MISSION

As the Manager for Glovo's Ads team, you will play a crucial role in the Partner Ads team at Glovo Portugal,  contributing to the country P&L. Your responsibility will be leading our Ads sales operations for the market, developing our go to market strategy, and creating strong client relationships to accelerate top line revenue growth.  Your role will also involve launching products and features to scale our operations, increasing our pool of advertisers and streamlining our sales tools and processes. Working closely with the Partner Ads team at HQ, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and enabling our Account Managements teams in Portugal.

THE JOURNEY

Drive measurable business outcomes (OKRs) through initiatives that enhance advertiser adoption and retention.  Lead the global Ads sales strategy & execution in Portugal, driving initiatives  across our Account Management teams to achieve our revenue targets. Build playbooks that clearly communicate the value of our newest Ads products, differentiating our offerings to maximize relevance across different advertiser segments. Build strong relationships with key advertisers and media owners, fostering partnerships and closing agreements that enhance revenue growth. Provide strategic guidance, training, and leadership to sales teams in the market, fostering excellence in their roles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of key ads campaigns, from pre-sale research to campaign launch and optimisation  Develop outbound sales pipelines and conversion funnels improving the sales processes and tooling for efficiency and effectiveness.  Localise and develop pitch materials and processes to enhance the scalability of our team and business. Spot opportunities to enhance performance and boost advertiser’s investment through data analysis and monitoring market trends. Advocate for the customer, effectively communicating product limitations and feedback to relevant internal teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups, consulting firms, or internet companies Experience in digital advertising and a history of driving revenue growth across multiple markets is a strong plus. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, enabling data-driven decision making. Familiarity with developing outbound sales processes, including establishing workflows and funnels. Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, coupled with experience coordinating and motivating teams. Proven ability to negotiate with key accounts is a plus. Excellent communication skills, and fluency in English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus. Previous experience working directly with enterprise restaurant advertisers or similar is a plus.
