Partner Activation Marketing Manager

**Introduction**
IBM is seeking a dedicated Partner Activation Marketing Manager to create and implement programs that help partners leverage marketing resources and assets to accelerate their path to generating revenue. In this role, you will work closely with Geographies and partners to align their marketing efforts with IBM's strategic objectives, ensuring they can quickly achieve their first dollar and beyond. Please note that this is a individual contributor role.
**Your role and responsibilities**
* Develop and execute partner activation programs that enable partners to effectively utilize IBM marketing resources and assets, driving faster revenue generation.
* Collaborate with partners to understand their unique needs, challenges, and goals, tailoring activation programs accordingly.
* Align partner marketing strategies with IBM's overall business objectives, ensuring their efforts contribute to shared successes for IBM, Partners and Clients.
* Provide guidance, training, and best practices to partners on leveraging IBM marketing materials, tools, and platforms to maximize their impact.
* Facilitate workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions to educate partners on effective marketing tactics and techniques.
* Monitor partner progress and performance, offering ongoing support and adjustments to activation programs as needed.
* Foster strong relationships with partners, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their marketing success within IBM.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to inform the development of cutting-edge activation programs.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of partner activation strategies by collecting and analyzing feedback, measuring program effectiveness, and identifying areas for enhancement.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product marketing, and demand generation, to ensure seamless execution of partner activation initiatives.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Proven experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or a related field, with a focus on accelerating partner revenue generation highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of marketing principles, tactics, and technologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to partner activation initiatives.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence partners at all levels.
* Demonstrated success in creating and managing partner programs, with a track record of driving tangible results.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and field marketing.
* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple partner activations simultaneously.
* Analytical mindset, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform program optimization and improvement.
* Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and evolve in response to changing market conditions and business needs.
