**Veterinary Reception, Client Care** **Location: Calgary, AB** **Part-time position** **Coach Hills Animal Hospital** is currently welcoming a **part-time** Veterinary Reception, Client Care to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated! + Preference will be given to those with experience in customer service and administrative duties + Knowledge of medical terminology and our VCA Woofware considered an asset + Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment + Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively + Scheduling appointments; Admitting and discharging pet patients + Invoicing/billing; creating estimates and processing payments + Take initiative and work independently + A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset + General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas + Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments + A love for all companion animals!! **What VCA Canada Offers** Join our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
