Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join the human resources team as the sole recruiter for all hourly positions, focusing primarily on skilled trades.

This role involves spending 75-80% of the time sorting through Indeed responses, communicating with candidates, conducting phone screens, and scheduling in-person interviews with hiring managers. Responsibilities also include tracking onboarding processes and completing new hire orientations.

The specialist must coordinate schedules with various hiring managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with team needs. They will evaluate both technical and soft skills to ensure candidates fit the company culture.

The remaining 20-25% of their time will be dedicated to supporting the human resources team by pulling records and performing other tasks as needed, requiring a high level of confidentiality.

ResponsibilitiesSort and evaluate Indeed responses for potential candidates.Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process.Conduct phone screenings and arrange in-person interviews with hiring managers.Track and manage onboarding processes for new hires.Complete new hire orientations.Coordinate schedules with hiring managers and supervisors.Screen candidates for both technical and soft skills to ensure cultural fit.Assist the human resources team with pulling records and completing other tasks.Maintain confidentiality in all HR-related matters.Essential SkillsRecruiting experience, particularly in skilled trades and manufacturing.Human Resources experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.Strong communication skills.Experience with full-cycle recruiting.Technical recruiting skills.Experience using Indeed.\"Nice to have\" QualificationsHuman Resources degree.Recruiting experience within manufacturing.Work Environment

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours a week with a flexible schedule.

The role allows the Talent Acquisition Specialist to work any hours Monday through Friday to meet the 20-hour requirement.

They will work closely with a small team consisting of an HR Manager and an HR Generalist, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
