Pay Rates
+ SLP: $85/hour
+ SLPA: $45/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person services at an elementary school in Olympia, WA. This part-time position offers a consistent schedule and a manageable caseload, making it an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking work-life balance or supplemental income.
Caseload
+ Approximately 34 elementary-aged students
Responsibilities
+ Provide speech and language services to elementary school students in accordance with IEPs
+ Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations (SLP only)
+ Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans
+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Qualifications
For SLP Candidates:
+ Active Washington state SLP license
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
+ ASHA CCCs preferred
For SLPA Candidates:
+ Active Washington state SLPA license
+ Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

The Clinical Fellow (CF) Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assists the Senior SLP in providing speech and language services. The Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist works in accordance with state and health regulations and Standards of Practice of Speech Pathology. The SLP Clinical Fellow is considered a mentored clinical experience that begins after academic course work and clinical practicum. The Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist must work under the clinical supervision and mentoring from an experienced client Speech Language Pathologist.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must be a graduate of a SLP program with a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a speech-language pathology
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
