Job Description

We are seeking an Interim Internal Communications Program Manager to support and execute the internal communications strategy at our San Diego site. This role is crucial in achieving business objectives, ensuring employee engagement, and aligning with business strategy and culture. You will collaborate closely with the San Diego site Internal Communications Business Partner and report to the Head of U.S. Internal Communications.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with Internal Communications colleagues to ensure successful program implementation.Provide logistical support for internal communications programs such as All Employee Meetings and local iterations of global events.Produce and publish content for various channels including intranet, email, and TV screen networks.Create communication plans tailored to department-specific needs.Support video projects by organizing and planning shoots.Write articles and features that highlight U.S. accomplishments on both local and global platforms.Adapt to evolving situations and perform other duties as required.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal communications in a corporate environment.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a relevant field.Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and PowerPoint.Exceptional writing and communication skills with a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Ability to understand technical verbiage and draft relevant communications.Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in integrated communications teams is a plus.Strong storytelling and editing skills for technical or complex messages.Hands-on multi-channel experience for optimum audience reach.Ability to adjust communication content and style to diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated capability to learn and apply new information or skills quickly.Work Environment

This role offers a flexible work environment with up to 16 hours per week, allowing work to be performed at any time during the week, except when engaging with stakeholders during standard business hours. The position is fully remote but may require on-site presence for certain events in San Diego.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $41.00/hr.
