Part-Time Onboarding Specialist
Description We are looking for an Part-Time Onboarding Specialist to join our HR team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring new team members are seamlessly integrated into the organization by managing essential administrative tasks and providing system setup support. Responsibilities: • Oversee the completion and verification of new employee documentation, including I-9 forms and other onboarding paperwork, to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Set up new employees in company systems, including creating clock-in numbers and configuring access to essential tools. • Audit onboarding records for completeness and address any discrepancies to ensure all forms meet organizational and legal standards. • Resolve technical or procedural issues encountered during the onboarding process to facilitate a smooth transition for new team members. • Provide assistance with HR-related projects and administrative tasks beyond onboarding as needed. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure onboarding processes align with company policies and goals. • Maintain accurate records in HR systems, including Paylocity, and use reporting tools to track onboarding metrics. • Communicate with new team members to address any questions or concerns during their onboarding journey. Requirements • Experience with Paylocity for managing onboarding, payroll, and employee records. • Proficiency in Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis. • Familiarity with HR systems, including knowledge of creating employee clock-in numbers. • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of onboarding documentation. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve onboarding-related issues effectively. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist new hires. • Bilingual capabilities are a plus but not mandatory. • Comfortable working in a relaxed and team-oriented environment.
