The Opportunity:

We are seeking a senior-level Expeditionary Warfare Engineer to provide strategic, part-time, on-call support for program execution, technical solutioning, and proposal development. As a trusted expert, you will help shape and articulate innovative, mission-focused Expeditionary Warfare solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) and federal customers.

This position demands deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to execute complex Expeditionary Warfare concepts.


This is a flexible, high-visibility role with compensation reflective of senior SME status.



Responsibilities:

Serve as a principal technical authority, advising program execution, capture, and proposal teams on Expeditionary Warfare strategies across a broad range of customers to include NAVWAR and INDOPACOM.

Support workload development activities to identify areas of opportunity and work with CACI leadership to grow portfolio with focus on Expeditionary Warfare. 

Apply scientific and engineering principles to develop, integrate, and sustain systems and capabilities for military operations.

Display technical expertise to develop capabilities in various fields, including sensors, communications, weapons, and mobility systems that will give military forces an operational advantage.

Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and Statements of Work (SOWs) to inform solution architecture and develop execution plans.

Develop and refine high-level technical concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectures, and discriminators for competitive proposals.

Author and review technical volumes and complex technical solutions tailored to solicitation and customer needs.

Provide expert consultation on technical discriminators, innovations, best practices, and compliance strategies

Participate in solution development workshops, technical storyboard sessions, and color team reviews.

Maintain an active awareness of DoD and federal policies, frameworks, standards, and emerging technologies.

Support multiple, concurrent efforts with a flexible, mission-first mindset.

Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to CACI growth areas.

Assist in developing graphics, diagrams, and other visual aids to explain complex technical concepts.

Mentor junior team members


Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related discipline).

12+ years of progressively responsible experience in supporting DoD or federal programs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft highly technical content for diverse audiences, including evaluators and senior executives.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if not already cleared.


Desired:

Master’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering, or related discipline).

Active DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Experience leading strategy for DoD programs, mission systems, or modernization efforts.

Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies, programs, and capabilities.

Experience advising senior leadership on growth strategy and successful execution of programs.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,200 - $226,900
