\n\nA Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

\nWhat will I be doing?
As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\n\n\n\tAudit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage.\n\tEnsure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists.\n\tResponsible for Front Desk duties during the overnight shift, including checking guests in/out, responding to guest inquiries and questions. \n\tGreets customers with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such on outlet hours, special VIP programs, events, etc.\n\tField guest complaints, conducting through research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating or air conditioning, etc. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Plan and implement detailed steps by using experienced judgement and discretion.\n

\n\nThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
\n\n\n\tKnowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects, such as, accounts, receivable, payroll, etc.\n\tAbility to access and accurately input information into a computer using Excel software and other various software programs.\n\tBasic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error.\n\tOffice machines: operate calculator/10-key by touch, copier, fax, telephone.\n\tMust possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately.\n\tAbility to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after employee begins work.\n\tMaintain an open line of communication between guests, team members and management.\n\n\nQUALIFICATION STANDARDS

\n\nHigh School graduate or equivalent required
\n\nEXPERIENCE
\n\nPrevious Hotel Front Desk experience in related field preferred. OnQ certification preferred.
