Position:  Activities Coordinator 

Palmettos of Charleston is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Activities Coordinator 3 to 4 days a weeks. This is a part time position which is flexible on days and times. If you are looking for a fun, part-time, flexible position, this is it.

Experience

Ability to pass a background check Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university OR Satisfactory completion of two years of college OR Two years of experience in long term care as it relates to activities and memory care Experience with Dementia preferred

Position Highlights:

Plan and coordinate well-rounded activities for a 15-apartment Memory Care unit Create activity calendar and ensure it is followed accordingly Assist with nursing/caregiving to ensure quality of care for the residents as needed.  Work closely with Memory Care Director Partner with Life Enrichment Director for center wide activities Demonstrate positive and professional work habits
