Job Description SummaryResponsible to perform the daily operations of mailroom functions to include processing and delivery of all external and internal shipments.Job Description

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Process all incoming mail and overnight packagesSort mail by Mail StopDeliver mail by Mail Stop throughout floorsDelivery and pick up of FedEx, UPS, and USPS throughout floors to and from the mailroomProcess all outgoing mail, USPS, UPS, and Fedex, with attention to shipment detailsAssist and advise end users of mail and shipping procedures, i.e. bulk mailings, international shipping etc.Assist employees in preparing special mail types (Certified, Express, Priority mail) with proper postage.Meter all outgoing mail, utilizing best cost option among carriersPerform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.Follow all departmental activities in accordance with set procedures and schedules.Help maintain inventory of all supplies in mail areas.  This includes FedEx shipping supplies, general office supplies etc.Assist manager as needed

 

Minimal Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalentMust be familiar with using a computer/emailsFamiliarity and ability to operate all equipment as necessaryFamiliarity with Excel, Outlook and WordKnowledgeable of postal regulations and mailing proceduresCopier/FedEx/USPS and Postage Machine KnowledgeExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks

The compensation for the position is: $24.00 - $24.00
