Description Overview: Robert Half is partnering with a long-standing property management company in search of a Part-Time HR Generalist to support all core human resource functions. This role offers a flexible, hybrid schedule and the opportunity to work closely with leadership in a stable, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded HR experience and a working knowledge of California employment law. A background in real estate or property management is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as the go-to resource for all HR-related inquiries and functions + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws + Support hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes + Manage or oversee Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment claims + Advise on and document employee relations and corrective action matters + Coordinate with finance/payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing + Guide leave of absence administration (FMLA, CFRA, etc.) + Participate in audit preparation and risk mitigation strategies + Collaborate with existing administrative staff (benefits, training platforms, etc.) Requirements Qualifications: + Minimum 5 years of generalist-level HR experience, ideally within California + Knowledgeable in employment law, employee relations, payroll, and compliance + Familiarity with WC, UI claims, and leave administration required + Real estate or property management experience is a plus + Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required + Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work independently TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
