Part-Time HR Coordinator
Job Title: HR CoordinatorJob Description As an HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the recruitment process by screening resumes and coordinating interviews. You will ensure smooth onboarding for new hires and maintain accurate records in our systems. You will also support hiring events, facilitate training logistics, and handle employee inquiries while upholding confidentiality and data integrity. Responsibilities + Screen resumes and applications against defined hiring criteria. + Coordinate interviews, pre-employment steps, and candidate communications. + Schedule and prepare materials for new-hire orientation. + Maintain accurate recruiting activity records and compile weekly updates. + Support hiring events and onsite interview days. + Coordinate onboarding tasks with IT, Payroll, and Facilities. + Conduct new-hire orientations and maintain employee files. + Assist with offboarding processes and exit interview logistics. + Update HR systems and SharePoint sites, and generate routine HR reports. + Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies. + Provide backup support for payroll and timekeeping processes. + Coordinate training logistics and track completions. + Partner across HR, Talent Acquisition, and plant operations to improve experiences. + Demonstrate effective prioritization to meet staffing timelines. Essential Skills + 1–2+ years of recruiting or HR experience within a manufacturing plant environment. + Proficiency with MS Office. + Familiarity with ATS/HRIS and job boards. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Effective listening and attention to detail. + Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. + Interpersonal skills to confidently interact with candidates, employees, and leadership. + Experience in a fast-paced, production-oriented context. Work Environment This role requires 100% onsite work alongside the HR Generalist. It is a part-time position, requiring 25 hours a week. The environment is dynamic and production-oriented, demanding effective communication and organizational skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
