Job Summary:
A wonderful family of four is looking for an experienced housekeeper to join their team and help keep their beautiful three-story home running smoothly.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll take charge of general housekeeping duties – from cleaning and tidying living spaces to managing laundry, ironing, and organising wardrobes. You’ll also lend a hand with light meal prep, occasional errands, and overseeing tradespeople and household appointments. With no childcare required, your focus will be on maintaining a well-ordered home and being a friendly, supportive presence in the background.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident working independently, while also being approachable and happy to be part of the family’s day-to-day rhythm. Job specification:
Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and tidying all living areas Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and bathrooms Handle daily laundry, ironing, and weekly changing of bed linens Organise wardrobes and general storage areas Coordinate and book appointments for handymen and household services Monitor and report minor maintenance needs around the home Clean and maintain indoor and outdoor areas as requested Run errands and welcome tradespeople or visitors as needed Occasionally assist with breakfast and lunch preparation Support with light pool maintenance tasks Occasional House & Pet sitting when the Principals are not in the property
Candidate specification:
Experienced in general housekeeping and home care Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and well-run household Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent in their work Able to follow structured checklists while also using initiative to identify and complete tasks Comfortable working independently, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset Confident using household task management systems (online checklists/software) Strong work ethic with a professional and respectful attitude Warm, approachable, and friendly; able to build a positive rapport with the family and interact confidently with children in the home Must be a driver with a valid license
