Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Guest Experience Supervisor at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. NRG Park is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement. We are a one-of-a-kind premier facility with four major venues within one giant park. NRG Center (one million+ sq. ft. Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena. We are seeking a unique Part-Time Guest Experience Supervisor to join our Events team. Under general supervision, the Guest Experience Supervisor performs various duties in connection with scheduled events. Duties will vary between facility and events. Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following:
Train and instruct employees regarding Guest Experience policies and procedures during events.
Prepare Guest Experience booths for opening and closing each event, ensuring staff have necessary supplies and equipment.
Provide the necessary training and information to guarantee that the staff remains well informed of the day’s events.
Serve as problem solver and support system for Guest Experience staff.
Ensure Guest Experience staff adhere to the rules of the point system.
Work Guest Experience booths during events assisting guests with directions, event information, item checks, ticket relocation and lost and found.
Manage guest issues and complaints up to the level where intervention by a manager may be required.
Provide special accommodation for wheelchairs and other physically handicapped patrons, senior citizens, students and groups.
Assist with hospitality services as needed.
Serve as tour guide providing information and assisting visitors and patrons.
Serve as a tram guide, giving information to guests as they ride NRG Park trams in the parking lots.
Assist where needed with the lost and found program.
During day-to-day operations, serve as an ambassador of NRG Park, assisting guests, contractors and staff.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Possess knowledge of the principles of facility management, building operations, maintenance, practices and safety requirements.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities
Good written, verbal and computer skills.
Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
The ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
Computer Skills
Operate standard office equipment and personal computer(s) using Outlook, MS Windows, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
Other Qualifications
Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
