Job Summary: 

Six Flags Over Texas is looking for a Part Time Garage Mechanic to help maintain the vehicle fleet and mechanical equipment.

Specific Duties and Responsibility:Repair and maintain park vehicle fleetRepair and maintain park generatorsRepair and maintain small engines on various park equipmentPerform mechanical inspections and repairs to ridesWork with other departments to complete other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Must have experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance and repair proceduresMust be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalentMust be able to lift up to 50lbsMust have own basic hand tools         Must be able to climb and work at heights over 50 feetMust be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work up to 39 hours per weekMust have a strong eye for detail and safety in mind.Must work well with othersHighly motivated, self-starter, and great time management skills requiredMust have a valid driver’s license, with a good driving recordWelding and machine shop experience helpful
