Job Summary:
We are a kind and professional family based in Richmond, London, seeking a part time, child friendly Housekeeper to support the smooth running of our home and provide occasional help with our cheerful 12 month old son. This is a long-term position ideal for someone seeking consistency, variety, and a respectful, family-oriented working environment.
This position is primarily focused on housekeeping duties, with some supportive childcare alongside a stay at home parent. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation, and enjoys working in a calm and structured home environment.

Job specification:
Daily cleaning and tidying of kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas Laundry: washing, ironing, folding, and putting away Weekly changing of bed linens and towels Organising cupboards and maintaining tidy storage spaces Kitchen upkeep, including fridge and appliances Toy and play area tidying and organization Monitoring household supplies and accepting deliveries Occasional light meal prep or batch cooking (not essential) Basic care for two friendly cats (feeding, water, litter tray) Morning routine and playgroup drop-off – when needed Supervising play and walks with our 12 month old son Tidying the nursery and children’s areas
Candidate specification:
Proven experience within a similar role Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Trustworthy, professional, and discreet — with full respect for privacy Comfortable working in a home with a stay at home parent Warm, caring, and calm nature with a flexible and proactive attitude Comfortable in a high standard household environment
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
